After two highly successful workshops, we’re excited to announce that the 3rd Ocean Science Filmmaking Workshopis coming in 2027.
This next edition will bring together filmmakers, scientists, students, and ocean advocates for another immersive storytelling experience—but this time, in an entirely new location with new co-hosts and collaborators.
Centered around the theme of Ocean & Water, the workshop will explore how powerful filmmaking can bridge science, conservation, and community, helping transform complex environmental research into stories that inspire action.
Whether you’re an emerging filmmaker, a scientist eager to communicate your work, or simply passionate about our blue planet, this workshop will offer hands-on learning, collaboration, and the opportunity to create meaningful environmental stories.
