Celebrating Ocean Week Canada – National Screening Tour
Join the British Columbia Environmental Film Festival (BCEFF) and partners across Canada for a national Ocean Week Canada screening tour connecting communities through film, science, storytelling, and public dialogue.
From British Columbia to Nova Scotia, this cross-country series brings together filmmakers, scientists, oceanographers, environmental organizations, educators, youth leaders, and local communities to explore our relationship with water, oceans, biodiversity, climate change, and environmental stewardship.
Featuring a curated selection of powerful short environmental films followed by community discussions and panel conversations, the tour aims to make complex environmental issues more accessible, emotional, and engaging through the power of cinema.
This year’s national screenings include events in Sidney, Ottawa, Toronto, and Iona, Nova Scotia — creating space for collaboration, education, and meaningful conversations around the future of our oceans and ecosystems.
